Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas is "seriously considering" asking that a United Nations Gaza war report be passed on to the Security Council, a senior official said.
Last Friday, the PA agreed to delay a vote in the UN Human Rights Council condemning Israel's refusal to cooperate with the inquiry. It also would have sent the report to the Security Council.
Abbas previously distanced himself from the controversial decision to postpone a UNHRC vote on the report by blaming aides for advising him to do so.
The move ignited an uproar among many Palestinians. Many blamed him for bowing to Israeli and American pressure.
