You can choose to support the Humanitarian Link, which makes grants to Palestinian charities working to ease the burden on Palestinian families*, the Palestine Center to support our educational work, the Gallery to support our art exhibits or The Jerusalem Fund's Palestine Diabetes Institute to help combat a growing epidemic facing Palestinians.
Last year at this time, Palestinians in Gaza bared the brunt of devastating Israeli attacks and Palestinians around the world struggled and felt helpless as our brothers and sisters in Gaza were bombarded. As the New Year comes, let us renew our commitment to helping Palestinians in Gaza, or wherever they may be, through supporting the work of The Jerusalem Fund.
When thinking of making your tax-deductible contribution, remember that you have an opportunity to offset some of the effects of other U.S. tax dollars. Three billion dollars worth of military assistance was given to the state of Israel and the white phosphorus shells which landed on Gaza were made in the U.S.A. Some Jewish charities raise funds based on tax deductions and then ship the funds to occupied Palestine to expand settlements and equip settlers with arms that ultimately hurt Palestinians.
You have an opportunity now to send funds in a different direction- a direction that will impact Palestinian lives in a positive way. Together, we will not let them down.

The Jerusalem Fund for Education and Community Development is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C., that maintains three programs. The Palestine Center hosts educational briefings and publishes analysis of the Palestinian experience and U.S. policy in the region. The Humanitarian Link provides short-term grants on a quarterly basis to humanitarian organizations in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and surrounding refugee camps. The Jerusalem Fund Gallery hosts art exhibits, workshops, film screenings, concerts and more that showcase the rich artistic heritage of the region.
